The DI-Tronics IV control system is PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) based and features a color graphics Operator Interface. The system can be configured to control, monitor and protect a variety of machinery types including gas turbine, steam turbine, motor and expander driven trains as well as associated turbomachinery applications.

Multiphase Power & Processing Technologies LLC (MppT) was a joint venture formed by Dresser-Rand Company and Aker Kvaerner in 1998. MppT combined the experience Dresser-Rand has in designing and manufacturing rotating equipment with Kvaerner Process Systems' expertise in packaging and separation technology. The objective was to develop and market proprietary expanders and other equipment to separate gases and liquids and give users the opportunity to generate power from previously wasted energy during oil and gas production.
